"Lee installed a heat pump for my pool just over a month ago. It's working great and I found Pool Gurus to be professional, timely and straightforward. Based on my experience I would recommend this company."

"When my pool pump stopped working I called everyone in the area to help me out but was told they were too busy. With visitors from out of town coming to my home that weekend I started to panic as my water was quickly turning for the worse. My wife found them on Instagram so I gave him a call and explained my situation. The next day Lee was at my house and confirmed the pump was dead and replaced it the next day at 8am. Thanks for being flexible with your time to help me out."

"Lee was awesome. He fixed the problem with our spa when we had 2 other pool companies charge $2000 and didn't fix it right. It has now been 2 years and it works great. Best guy around!"

"Lee was awesome came out right away to look at our leaking pipe, he got us on his schedule and repaired the pipe and it ended up being less work than he thought and he adjusted to invoice to reflect that, we will use Pool Gurus in a heartbeat again! Thank you!"

"I used AZ Pool Gurus on a referral from another company for the recommendation and installation of a pool heater and converting to a Salt Cell chlorine system. I live in Queen Creek wanted to be able to use our pool year round. We also had terrible problems with calcium buildup on tile (the water is extraordinarily hard in Phoenix) and I had heard a Salt Cell system would help soften it. Lee came over and explained how it all would work. He recommended putting both a Salt Cell system and a Heat Pump on our existing system. This would give us softer water and would be able to heat up our pool efficiently on colder days. The heat pump is a bit pricey but was going to give us ability to swim year round with an added benefit of cooling the pool in the summer. After I said yes to the price, he was out 4 days later with a crane (heat pump was large/heavy and needed to go in a tight spot). Everything (including Salt Cell) was installed and running in about 4 hours and it all connected nicely to our existing circulation pump. The system heats nicely although it does take some time to bring a pool up to temperature (about 1 deg/hour) but once there it does a good job holding it at temperature. Lee told us to get a pool cover and it would help hold the heat overnight when most of the heat loss was occurring (and the unit did not run during night hours anyway). We got a basic 20x40 'bubble wrap' cover for $135 off amazon and cut it to fit our pool. This has dramatically cut the loss of heat when nights are down to 36 deg and allows the pool to heat up even faster. We are still monitoring electricity use but it appears to be adding about $200-250/mo to the bill during the coldest months but that is heating the pool to 86 deg when it is 60-70 during the day and mid-30s at night. In other words its like our normal AC bill during July. I'm going to see how well the pool cover helps that (just put it on recently) and we'll probably turn down the temp to 80 since that feels plenty good on a cold day anyway. Overall super happy with the system and the service we got from Lee and his son to get it installed and answer questions about it."
